About Heli Air Miami
Founded at the start of the pandemic in 2020, Heli Air Miami was born out of passion and dedication to the thrilling experience of helicopter flight. However, Founder, Wayne Ivarson, and all the Pilots at Heli Air Miami, Have been flying for much longer than just here at Heli Air, having all had jobs flying helicopters all around the world prior to this!

At the heart of our operations is founder and CEO, Wayne Ivarson. Wayne's life has been intimately tied to helicopters since age 20. Now, with well over 2000 flight hours under his belt, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience spanning across different helicopter types and terrains throughout the United States.

Working alongside Wayne is Chief Pilot Bryan Kasch, a seasoned flier with over 16 years of experience. Bryan eats, sleeps, and breathes helicopters! Bryan's commitment to his craft is so profound, he even has helicopter tattoos!

We're also super happy to have Victor Alves on board part time - Victor flies fire fighting missions in Yellowstone seasonally, and flies tours here with us in his off time!
Elite Helicopter Pilots
All of the Pilots at Heli Air Miami are at the very minimum, commercially rated helicopter pilots from the FAA. In addition, each Pilot undergoes an annual training program in house, and each Pilot also has attended the helicopter manufacturer’s training school. Our pilots are extremely proficient, and are all a very rare breed of people. To put it boldly, they don’t just hand out helicopter pilot licenses, there are less than 5,000 actively employed helicopter pilots in the United States. To put the qualifications of a helicopter pilot into perspective – the Astronauts of the Apollo program all had to learn how to fly helicopters because of the similarities and complexities to the lunar lander.
